Treatment and prevention of coccidiosis and atoxoplasmosis

Coccidiosis is an infectious disease caused by protozoa (small single-celled parasites). It develops in the host’s intestinal cells and damages the intestinal wall. Digestion is then severely impaired and birds lose weight. Young birds are very susceptible!
Atoxoplasmosis is also a specific form of coccidiosis. This parasite enters the bloodstream during its cycle and can settle in organs such as the liver, spleen, lungs and brain. Birds develop thickened livers, bloody spots on the intestines, wheezing and sometimes loss of balance.
ESB PLUS intervenes in the coccidiosis cycle and prevents further development. It is therefore a coccidiostat; it stops the cycle. It has no negative effects on fertilisation, laying, growth or hatching outcomes.
