Seminar "The secrets of Breeding" at Riccione (IT) - 09/10/2022

Hobby Natura's first seminar was a great success!

On Sunday, 09 October 2022, the team of Hobby Natura, our (leading) distributor in Italy, organised its first seminar to reveal some secrets of breeding.

No one less than Eddy Rimaux, Dr Peter Coutteel, and a large number of (top) breeders had travelled down to Riccione (Italy) for this, where the seminar took place at Hotel Poker.

After an introduction by Alex Valentini (Hobby Natura), Dr Peter Coutteel gave an exciting and instructive presentation (with simultaneous translation by Diego (Hobby Natura)), which covered the following topics:

• The importance of light, temperature and humidity.
• Selection of healthy breeding birds.
• Preparation of the birds and the breeding room.
• The role of nutrition, vitamins and supplements to optimise bird condition.
• And last but not least, the most common diseases, recognising them and treating them.

After a well-deserved coffee break, our top breeder Eddy Rimaux took the floor to help answer Q&As and reveal some of the secrets of breeding goldfinches.

Then we all left for the premises of Hobby Natura in Rimini, where products, food and birds were available for purchase, and our panel also answered further questions.

Likewise, we were firmly spoiled there with all kinds of Italian specialities!

It was a success that is worth repeating!
